- 01What data can you work with?
- The first step is reviewing the systems, exports, spreadsheets, databases, and access methods involved. Suitability depends on the data's quality, permissions, sensitivity, and whether it can be updated reliably.
- 02Do we need a dashboard?
- Not always. A scheduled report, a cleaned dataset, or a simpler operational view may be more useful. The output should match the decision and reporting frequency rather than defaulting to a dashboard.
- 03Can you improve an existing reporting process?
- Yes. We can review the current calculations, data preparation, outputs, and maintenance work, then improve the parts that cause delay, inconsistency, or confusion.
- 04How do you check that the numbers are correct?
- Definitions and transformations are documented, sample outputs are reconciled with source records, and people familiar with the business review the results. Known data limitations remain visible rather than being hidden.
- 05Will we be able to maintain the reporting after handover?
- The agreed handover includes documentation and training for the update process, calculations, assumptions, and common checks. Ongoing support can be arranged separately if needed.
