Questions about connected reporting
- Do we need to replace our ERP or accounting system?
- No. The reporting is built on the systems you already run.
- How are the numbers checked?
- Report definitions are agreed with your team first. Financial totals are reconciled to the ledger where applicable, and operational figures are checked against the system they come from. Any known limitations in the source data are documented.
- What do you need from our team?
- Access to the relevant systems, a contact in finance or operations who knows how the current reports are produced, and time to review definitions and early versions of the reports.
- Can our team or IT provider maintain the reporting?
- Handover includes documentation and training on the reports, definitions and refresh process, so a trained team member or IT provider can run routine refreshes. New data sources and changes to definitions can be supported separately, along with ongoing monitoring.
